Suggest Treatment For Ventricular Tachycardia And Systolic Dysfunction

I am suffering from ventricular tachycardia, systolic dysfunction resulting in fatigue, lightheadedness, etc. I trust my cardiologist but he has not suggested any remedy other than the possibility of a pacemaker, which seems counter-intuitive considering the tachycardia.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Pacemaker makes sense. However, if there is no other arrhythmia and a normal blood pressure, consider a beta blocker like Metoprolol.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
