Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Since 3 days i am having vertigo problem. I think this is related to gas. As it started one morning, i was unable to walk due to vertigo. Rested entire day and took eno. I feel ok now, but at times i.e. while getting up in morning, bending down, getting up after lying on floor, etc i feel momentarily head spinning. Basically, i am not feeling normal even after 3 days. Any suggestions.
Hi Vertigo is not associated with flatus in stomach. Vertigo can be due to a number of factors and for its management, you need to consult an ENT specialist. He will do positional test for vertigo and if it turns out to be positive, he will do Hallpike manueuer for its cure. You will be fine in a few minutes hopefully. If positional test is negative, then you will be investigated for other causes of it like CNS disorders. Thankyou for contacting HCM. Take care
