Suggest Treatment For Vertigo , Dizziness And Pain In The Armpit

Hello. I visited my primary physician recently who says I have vertigo. I ve been feeling light headed not dizzy since April. I get this once a week. Recently I ve been getting a pain in my left armpit to the palm of my hand. I seem to be getting forgetful and task take me forever. I feel and look sluggish. Thyroid tested normal. My health: High cholesterol, overweight 160 lbs, 55 years old, pre-diabetic, GERD, almost zero excercise (too tired too/no energy).

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have vertigo , dizziness and pain in the armpit . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are due to serious problem related to heart like stroke . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination without any delay . Doctor may order ECG, TMT , troponin t test and complete blood profile along with angiography in some cases . Doctor may prescribe isosorbit nitrate , aspirin , betablocker , sedatives and diuretics . Doctor may refer you to ENT specialist for problem like meniere's disease and acoustic neuroma . For now avoid bending forward and take proper rest .
