Hi all, For the last month or so, Ive been suffering on and off with vertigo, nauseousness and fatigue. But now up untill 2 weeks ago, a new symptom started and feels like its getting worse. It feels like a have a smalll bird in my chest, flapping around, combined with a heavy feel on my chest, with more fatigue, dizziness and now anxiety + shortness of breath I would really like to know if I should be worried or not.
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
There are a few medical conditions that could be causing your symptoms. In order to find the cause, I recommend you have your bloods taken to see if you have iron deficiency or another type of anaemia or a thyroid condition. These are treatable conditions and once identified there are medications you can use that can relieve your symptoms.
Inner ear disease is also a cause of dizziness and vomiting. You would need to be examined by a doctor and may need some tests for inner ear function. A medication called stugeron may help your dizziness if it is due to inner ear disease.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Musarrath Raboobee
