Suggest Treatment For Violent Aggressive Behavior And Anger Management Issues

my son is 20, for past 2-3 years he seems irritable often, makes holes in walls and this week in anger he hit a steel pole and fractured his hand, very concerned parent thinking he could be bypolar, help me please, my son was adopted, his birthmother was a big alcohol and drug user during entire pregnancy

I am sorry for the situation your adopted son is in.

His actual attitude is suggestive for bypolar disorder. However, if I was his caring doctor would highly recommend to consult with psychiatrist for further evaluations and specific treatment.
