Suggest Treatment For Viral Eye Infection

Hi I was told an eye doctor early in may2015 that I have an viral eye infection I was only given artificial tear drops how llong will itlast I also have been dealing with some form of blepharitis in which I been washing my eyelids with baby shampoo and I have eyelid scrubs I also take high blood pressure medicine. so can some please help me?

hi, viral infection of eye is self limiting but takes atleast 20 days. Your eyelid scrubs are actually dandruff of your eyelashes known as squamous blepharitis.Just washing with a baby shampoo will not cure this you need to see a dermatologist for the treatment of dandruff of your head which is the main cause of this eye condition.Falling of dandruff from head to eyes leads to blepharitis.
High blood pressure causes hypertensive retinopathy in eye . This usually occurs after the age of 50. you have not mentioned your age. go for a fundus examination once a year.
