Suggest Treatment For Viral Fever

Greeting doctor,my friend sufering from fever for past 10 days..blood reports shows viral fever,a;sp ESR rate is 34mm/hr..once he take tablet he become normal n get much sweat, 2-3 hours later he get fever again..he feel drowsy ,whats the solution for this?he have heart problem too

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Viral infections are self limiting and take 7-10 days for resolution.
Symptomatic treatment has to be given during the course of infection.
Anti-pyretics (paracetamol), cold sponges if fever goes too high and painkiller for body aches.
Take light fresh cooked food, plenty of fluids and maintain good nutrition & hydration.
