Suggest Treatment For Visible Pins After Bone Graph

Iam a 26 year old male i had a boken scaphoide. i had to get a bone graph and they used pines. The surgery was done 3 months ago, one of my pens is backing out and the bone graph has not fused together yet. Is this common, will the pin have to be removed also am wondering your thought on if you may think this may result in a second surgery?
