Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And High Fever

My 12 year old daughter swabbed positive for strep yesterday & prescribed amoxicillin. Still high fever (103.5) and vomited several times today. What can I do to bring her fever down? No appetite & she vomited the ibuprofen about 10 minutes after I gave it to her.

Hello dear
Your boy is suffering from scarlet fever due to streptococcal infection.
You should take Tablet amoxiclav 625 mg two times a day for 5 days
Tablet Dolo (Paracetamol) 500 mg two times day for 5 days
Tablet Zofaran 8 mg two times daily or when there is vomiting for 5 days
Take lukewarm water in drinking.
Take warm water steam inhalation that help in drainage of aspirate from throat.

Als take following preventive measure to prvent spraeding of infection to other family member-
- wash your hands often and avoid sharing eating utensils, linens, towels or other personal items.
- stay home from school or daycare for at least 24 hours after starting antibiotics.
