Hi,

Without having much information about your case, or where you are from, or if you have travelled to tropical endemic areas, I suggest you go immediately to the emergency for evaluation.

His symptoms suggest a probable syndrome of enteric fever, such as typhoid fever, which is a disease that presents itself in a subacute manner.

It begins with the consumption of contaminated food, then with a variable incubation period of 5-21 days.

The first week with non-specific symptoms such as discomfort, even as a cold, followed by signs of bacteremia (fever, chills), dissociation of the pulse with fever (bradycardia, slow heartbeat and fever).

The second week, abdominal pain and rash in the chest and abdomen. The third week, hepatosplenomegaly (growth of the liver and spleen), intestinal bleeding, intestinal perforation, peritonitis, sepsis, multiorgan failure.

The treatment is antibiotics, but first, you must go to emergency to discard this disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
