Suggest Treatment For Vomiting Sensation Due To Lodged Tablet In Throat
I took my prozac this morning as usual and it feels like it is lodged in my throat. I took it with a full bottle of water and its burning. This makes me feel like I m going to throw up. I ve had this before and it usually lasts all day. What can I do to make it go away?

Hi, any tablet when it sticks to the throat will cause localized burning sensation even it moves ahead after drinking water. because of the chemical in it reacts locally. The FB sensation in the throat will subside even without medication.You may take 10 ml of mucoanaesthetic gel orally to reduce such sensation. Your airway is normal by the way drunk 1 ltr water without cough. Take care
