I HAVE A WART ON THE SOLE OF MY LEFT FOOT. VISITED A FOOT DR, ORDERED CREAM 1 MONTH LATER NO RELIEF. WENT TO STORE AND BOUGHT WART REMOVAL. NO GOOD; BOUGHT UNDA SEROYAL. FOLLOWED DIRECTION TAKE 10 DROPS 2XS A DAY, FEW DROPS ON BAND AID. I MUST ADMIT FEELS A LOT BETTER BUT IT IS HARD AND I STILL EXPERIENCE SLIGHT PAIN. WAS ADVISED TO BUY OREGANO OIL AND SOAK FOOT AND PLACE A FEW DROPS ON BAND AID. WHAT SHOULD I DO BECAUSE I CANNOT WALK FREELY AS BEFORE.
Hi. As per your case history of wart on sole, my treatment advice is - 1. Wear loose footwear to avoid pressure on the affected part. 2. Apply a salicylic acid plus lactic acid lotion like Salactin paint once at night on wart. 3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream once in morning. 4. Other treatment options are oral levamisole, zinc, cauterization done by a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
