I have watery right eye with little pus bt feels strained and the eyelid is hurting. I wear tori contact lenses. This started 2 days back when I was travelling from another city. There was a lot of watering and now this has happened. What do u suggest.
It is dacrocystitis leading to blockage of nasolacrimalduct and epiphora. Apply ofloxacin.3% eye drop 6hourly . Neosporine eye ointment to be applied at bedtime. Take combiflam tablet8hourly after food. after pus discharge stops punctum dilatation and syringing may be done to be repeated next day.
