General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Hydromyelia is due to the widening of the spinal canal and accumulation of CSF, causes pressure on nerve roots and the neurological problems arise. Better consult a Neurosurgeon and get corrected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
