Suggest Treatment For Weight Gain And Pain In Foot
Hi Sir, I am 33 years old Female, my previous readings are T3 60, I started using Thyrox 100 mcg from past 3.5 months as and got test done Yesterday and my readings were T3=76, T4=7.2, TSH=12.26. Shall I continue using 100 mcg or increase / decrease the dosage. Please suggest. My current symptoms are weight Gain, Foot Pain, Voice change, etc,.

Your recent T3 is 76, so your dose should be increased. Increments of 25 mcg every 2-4 weeks is recommended with your initial dose of 100 mcg/day until the desired effect is achieved. You should take 125 mcg/day. So, you should undergo again thyroid function test within 2-4 weeks for the adjustment of the dose of Thyrox.
