Hello,

You are suffering from palpitations, weight gain , dry skin and thyroid problem for which you were tested for. Since you are having palpitations you are suggested to get lipid function tests, ECG, Echo, stress tests, CBC, X-ray, urinalysis done to detect developing CAD, coronary artery disease. You will be accordingly treated. Avoid stress and anxiety, take fresh home made nutritious food, avoid packaged, oily-spicy junk food, refined flour, sugary food items, full fat dairy products, etc.

Take well cooked whole cereals, olive oil, lean meat, fruits and vegetables that are preferably boiled. Avoid sedentary lifestyle, do regular walking and stretch exercises. You should also get T3, T4, TSH done to evaluate the degree of your thyroid dysfunction. Thyroid dysfunction triggers weight gain, dry skin, palpitations and menstrual disorders. You may need to take medicines. You have not mentioned if you are in perimenopausal phase, dry skin and palpitations can be triggered by the hormonal imbalances due to physiological changes.

Get clinically examined to detect PMDD (Premenstrual dysphoric disorder or any other ailment). Stay well hydrated, take adequate amount of water and fluids. If needed you will be given medicines to boost your progesterone levels. Take food rich in vitamin E, vitamin B6, or you can also take it as a supplement. Stay away from addictions if any, continue with your healthy lifestyle and exercises.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
