Suggest Treatment For Weight Gain While On Lexapro
When I started Lexapro 1+ year ago my urine smell turned to ammonia but I also gained 25+ lbs. Since I tapered off 3 weeks ago, my urine output is less frequent but sickeningly sweet smelling. Could I have diabetes from the sudden drug drop + weight gain? Thank you in advance.

From your description, I am of the opinion that Lexapro (escitalopram) is a risk factor for type 2 diabetes and weight gain. You should have a routine urine examination along with the HbA1c test.
