Suggest Treatment For Weight Gain

How do Armour thyroid and a beta blocker metroprolol (Lopressor) interact? Since I have begun using beta blockers, I am struggling to keep my ideal weight. It seems I cannot eat any carbs without gaining weight.....protein and green vegetables are all I can eat.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

There is no significant interaction between armour and metoprolol. You may still have hypothyroidism and your weigh is gaining because of it. You should check your T3, T4 and TSH level and adjust the dosage accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
