General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The red spot on chin is not of much clinical significance as there can be many benign conditions responsible for the same, but associated weight loss if of bit major concern and must be evaluated in details. Two possibilities sound here as:
- Chronic inflammation
- Auto immune response to underlying pathology of some sort. I would recommend to consult a physician for primary evaluation of general parameters, basic lab tests and if he or she thinks to be of requirement, a biopsy of red spot on the chin may be a future need of medical evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
