Suggest Treatment For Weight Loss Followed By Weight Gain

How do you know when your TSH is correct and the amount of medication you take is right. My symptoms are weight loss, then weight gain , I went from 146 lb to 108 lbs , I dont t sleep well, my hands are cold all the time to many symptoms to describe.

Hello,

The TSH levels should vary from 0.5-5 miU/L. If your TSH is under this range or over it, this will determine if the thyroid is working more that it should or less than it should and this may guide further tests and treatment.
