Suggest Treatment For Wet Cough

i got dogbite on 30th of april i got ist rabipur injection on 7th of may since then i have got all 5 injections required on the given days.am i out of danger now. i am 37 years old and 5 feet 10 inches long and 85 kgs in weight i have had some problems with wet cough in the past

Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of wet cough which is due to severe upper respiratory tract infection and post nasal drip. The infection is probably a strep throat. I would suggest you start with a course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. You should avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. For now, do warm saline rinses, take rest. Avoid taking cold beverages. You should take mast cell stabilizers to prevent infection. I would suggest you consult ENT specialist without any delay if symptoms don't get relieved.
