Suggest Treatment For Wheezing And Fever In A Child

my son went to sleep around 6pm which i thought was kind of unusual. when he woke up he was a bit fussy i noticed that he would breathe in and out then wake up and try to catch his breath a little so i gave him predinsolone sod phos and i put the humidifier on the reason for this is because the doctor had given this to him 2 weeks prior because he was kind of wheezing. but he doesnt have asthma but they said since he has excema sometimes they go hand in hand. anyway he fell back to sleep but then woke back up and he had a fever so i gave hime tylenol. i then took off his pajamas to cool him and then put a wet wash cloth on his forehead. as he was laying there he jumped up histerical scared and i dont know if i should take him to the er. but his fever has gone down.
