Suggest Treatment For White Bumps Inside The Mouth
I have white pimples inside of my mouth and a rash inside my lower lip. I am on nebulizers, Percocet, valacyclovir, gabapentin, I have shingles and copd, emphysema, aortic stenosis. Am wondering what they are and if it is thrush or something like that. They do not hurt. I did not know I have them until I felt a pain inside of my mouth. thanks marlys
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of white pimples in mouth and red rash inside lower lip and Shingles, COPD, Emphysema and aortic stenosis. . Also noted your treatment history of taking Nebulized, Percocet, Valacyclovir and Gabapentin all these for post-herpetic neuralgia.
The oral white lesions can be simply leucoplakia or fungal (thrush) as you have suspected. The redness under the lower lip indicated that there may be aphothoid ulcers developing or there may be a reaction to Valacyclovir.
I would advise you to consult an Oral Surgeon for an early diagnosis and proper treatment. Till hen take therapeutic dosages of Vitamin A and D, multivitamins and oral application of anti-fungal medicines .
I hope this answer helps you in early and proper diagnosis and treatment.
