Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query .As per your query you have white patches on the cheeks . The symptoms you mention in query are clearly indicating allergic reaction. But in your case it is creating problem that is ' CONTACT DERMATITIS . There can be other reasons also like environmental changes or direct sunlight exposure . I would suggest you to give cold compresses to affected area twice a day , stop using cosmetic product immediately , use ' KOJIC ACID ' cream twice a day . It is very effective and safe for long term use and protect skin from direct exposure. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult pediatrician for proper diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe steroid ointment for limited period , hydroquinone cream, retenoids or antibiotics .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The white patch can be a frictional keratosis or white sponge nevi. Nothing to be panic, consult a pediatric dental surgeon and get it evaluated. If it is a frictional keratosis, the cause has to be removed like any sharp cuspal edges of the teeth. If it is a white sponge nevi, it requires no treatment. If it is interfering with the mastication, then it has to be removed surgically.
I hope I have answered your query, take care.
