Suggest Treatment For White Sores In Mouth And Swollen Tonsils In A Child
My 7 year old son has white sores in his mouth, his tonsils are swollen and they have very large red spots on them. He has complained of head ache several times. He s not been unusually tired and he has not had a fever. Us this a symptom of hand foot and mouth disease?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that your son has the symptoms of Viral infection that can be leading to following symptoms.. I would suggest you to consult a Paediatrician and get evaluated and a throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. 1.As of now you should give anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.. 2.He can gargle with warm saline solution.. 3.He can chew a Vitamin C pellet daily.. 4. Gargling with numbing mouthwash can help in reducing throat pain and also reduce pain in mouth ulcers.. 5.She can avoid spicy and hard foods and take a soft bland diet with plenty of fluids..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
