Suggest Treatment For Yellow White Pustules On Tonsils

Hi, I have had tonsilitis for a week now. It started with yellow/white pustules on tonsils which got better over a few days (Sunday- Tuesday), today (Saturday) the pustules have come back again. I have not had antibiotics, saw GP on Friday who said it should get better on its own. Have been gargling with salt water. What should I do? Thanks

Hi,

Suggestive of acute follicular tonsillitis. Based on the history you seem to be suffering from acute follicular tonsillitis apparently caused by the bacteria.

I advise you to consult a doctor for further evaluation and to take a course of antibiotic such as augmentin for about 7 to 10 days.
