Suggest Treatment For Yellowish Fishy Vaginal Discharge

Im a 18 year old girl & have yellow fishy discharge that last about a week or until i start menstruating & no i haven t had sexual intercourse but i do have a boyfriend. Im too embarrassed to go to my dr because she Always makes my mom go in with me. Is there any medicine i can buy?

Thanks for consulting us.
This type of vaginal discharge is usually seen in Bacterial vaginosis. Treatment is by Metronidazole tablets or Clindamycin vaginal cream. In any case, you have to see a Gynecologist to confirm this diagnosis before using the medicines. You can go with your friend or alone as you are 18 now.
