Suggest Treatment Of Stomach Discomfort In An Infant

Hello Dr. Santosh, My 3 week old baby, is frequently spitting out after feed. And sometimes making weired faces and voices before passing urine/stool. I can observe her belly too changing shapes during same. While discussing with friends and family, they suggested for Colicaid Syrup. Also, I got a name as Bonnisan from Himalaya, which is claimed as a Ayurvedic product with no side effects. Could you please suggest me, which one I should go for?

Hello,

These things are normal for a child with colic. colic aid and gripe water might help but it's best to ask a pediatrician before starting any meds in such a small child.

Try to keep the mother on a simple diet without spices as they pass in milk and cause colic in infant. Some babies are colicky till a year of life and then they are simply happy babies later.
