Suggest Treatment Pus Formation In The Tonsils
I have an infection in my left tonsil. My doctor has given me azithromycin but after taking the entire dose I still wasn t cured. Then I consulted an ENT specialist and she has given me Amoxiclav for treatment. This is now my three days of taking Amoxiclav but as I have observed, there are still no changes. The tonsil doesn t hurt, but it has a dot of pus on it. Please help.

Continue the full course of antibiotics. You can also do throat gargling with antiseptic oral solution. If there is no response a throat swab may be required.
