Suggest Treatment That Helps Recover From Subacute Infarct In The Left Capsuloganglionic Region

Dear Sir, My sister age 48 suffered a subacute infarct in left capsuloganglionic region. Though it seems there was some delay in taking to the doctor, presently has been shifted to general ward from ICU and she is OK. But she is unable to speak clear and continuous. Anyway not as load as she used to before. May please suggest what best can be done to fully recover and not to repeat any such problems in future.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

What medications she is on? She is a Diabetes or Hypertensive patient? In the hospital, they may start anti thrombolytic and anti-edema treatment. But now she needs mainly Physiotherapy and speech therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
