I have read your question and have understood your concern.

Rubella is known to cause multiple abnormalities in baby. Torch affects mostly the first pregnancy.

Usually sac without embryo (Blighted ovum) does not recur unless there is any chromosomal element responsible.

I feel, your doctor has given you a correct advice to undergo chromosomal study to find out any aberrations in them. Wait for the results. Then you will get clear picture and proper guidelines.

I hope you have clear idea now.
