Hi,
Going through ur case record, it is advisable for more tighter Blood pressure control.
As you have Diabetes your Blood pressure target is systolic Less than 140 and diastolic less than 80.
If you have changes of
Diabetic nephropathy (Diabetes related adverse effects on kidneys) you have not mentioned about it, further tighter control of blood pressure needed.
In Diabetes certain Blood pressure medicine are given (ACE inhibitors, ARBs, Cilnidipin) that reduces blood pressure as well protect kidneys from effects of diabetes and
high blood pressure, if there is no specific contraindications for their use.
So it is advisable to undergo evaluation for diabetes complications of different organ, mainly kidneys (Ultra
sonography of kidneys, renal function tests, urinary albumin
creatinine ratio), eyes (fundoscopy for
retinopathy), foot Examination, electrocardiogram for heart.
So in you case it is advisable to start above mentioned medicine along with nebicard for better blood pressure control.
Along with all above better Diabetes control is necessary.
