Suggest Treatment To Cure Slip Disc

hii i had slip disc l4 and l5,before 2 years but now it has relapased and have taken adequate bed rest also, my spine specialist says that if u want normal life, u need to go for micro surgery where they would shave the disc which is coming out, is it safe, my age is 30 and currently i am taking accupreasure, my left leg is really paining and sitting is big problem, please advice really going through bad time
