Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Acne

i have bad acne and i want to find something to get rid of my acne . at the moment i have a really bad pimple on the side of my nose under my right eye and that whole area has swollen up really bad. i tend to get this at least a couple times a year in the same areas but aside from these bad ones , i have acne on other areas on my face and back. i heard about acne pills and i wanted to try it. the internet says acnepril is the best and all natural but i wanted to check if its safe or if its even the best thing to use.

Hello dear,

First of all please do not pay attention to the treatment modalities present on internet, without consulting your Doctor.

Pimples are caused due to a combination of 4 factors:
1. Increased production of sebum from sebaceous glands in the skin
2. Increase proliferation of cells & blockage of these glands
3. Inflammation.
4. Bacterial infection.

The treatment depends on the severity.
Usually we recommend a combination of treatment with topical retinoids at night and application of benzoyl peroxide gel on the pimples in the morning.
If the severity is more, antibiotics like Clindamycin or Doxycycline are recommended.

Also avoid oily foods, drink lots of water & clean your face with an oil free cleanser three times a day for reduction of pimples.
