Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks On The Stomach

Hi there, after having 2 children, I am left with several stretch marks on my stomach. A couple of them are quite wide. Within the past few weeks I have developed 2 blood blisters. One is just forming now, and one formed a while ago, appeared dark in color, then popped randomly in the shower one day and bled for quite some time. I kept it covered with neosporen and a band aid until it appeared like the opening was healing. What could these be and is there a way to stop them? Or treat them? Thank you!

The possibile diagnosis based on the description of the blood blisters is furunculosis which is an infection of the hair follicle. It can be treated with topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin. You must avoid pricking or fiddling with them. A short course of oral antibiotic like azithromycin might also help .The treatment options for the striae include topical Tretinoin 0.025 percent cream at night. You may also apply Vitamin E cream in the daytime over striae.Discuss the above mentioned therapy with your dermatologist.Regards.
