Suggest Treatment To Increase Lactation?

I stopped nursing my baby for 3 weeks. I get just a few drops of milk now. My baby is 5 months old.
I work in a college. But I would like to nurse my baby at least when I am at home in the evenings. I took 6 tablets of Perinorm in 3 days. I have been drinking milk with Lactare granules as well. I am still not getting milk like I used to. Could you please tell me what I need to do?

Hi

Lactare tablets can be used once or twice a day for upto 2 to 3 months. But the following measures should also be done.Tablet alone cannot increase milk production.

Eat atleast one serving of leafy green vegetables in a day.

Include foods like ghee, pomegranate, carrots, barley, cumin seeds, garlic, fenugreek, apricots and oatmeal on your meal.

Massage the breasts for a while before feeding every time. This will increase the milk flow.

Feed your baby well, atleast once every 2 hours. The more you feed more will be the milk produced. Feed for longer so that your baby gets enough of fore milk and hind milk which is richer in fat.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
