Suggest Treatment To Lighten Dark Spot On Face

hello: sir i have a pimple on my face before 2 years and i prick it so it became a wound and when it heal there become a dark spot i went to dermotologist they recommeded a metasone f and a clear astringent face wash and tab floxit but the dark spot not clear what ointment clear darkspot

Hello,
Your problem is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation due to acne, and pricking acne worsened that. For this you can use triple combination skin lightening agents ( Clears max, Skinlite etc ) at night along with good sunscreen with spf at least 30. These triple combination creams may irritate your skin , so initially you apply for short period ( 2 hrs ) and then wash off. It should not be used more than 6 months without presciption as it may cause ochronosis - a dark skin condition. Sunscreens to be used half an hour before going out and need to reapply every 4 hours.
If you have concurrent acne, you need to treat that also.
