Hi,

The rash you are experiencing can be caused by several conditions. Allergy can be a cause of similar rash as well, especially if it is itchy. Local reaction and viral infection can be other possible causes.

Knowing how long you have this rash is helpful in diagnosis? Also, what makes it better or worse, if it causes any discomfort if you have other symptoms such as fever, joint pain, etc.

Do others around you experience similar rash and have you used any drugs? I would recommend you to take some benadryl (be cautious if you drive as this can make you drowsy, Loratadine is used in this case, it is not as effective as benadryl though). You can also apply a mild steroid cream such as hydrocortisone. Try to avoid anything that makes the rash worse. These would help with allergy and local reaction.

You can withhold the lady shake for a few days and then see how the rash behaves. If it improves, then lady shake is the culprit and otherwise if it does not improve. If you notice no improvement in 3-4 days or you notice any worsening you will need to see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
