Suggest Treatment To Lower Blood Pressure In A 71 Years Old

My father is 71 he's on several medications to lower his bp but nothing is helping. The blood pressure is running extremely high . 239/90 mostly in the evening .It is running mostly around 178/82. He can't take much his kidneys can't take it. The doctors can't run any dyes because his kidney Will fail .

Hi,

There are multiple drugs to maintain BP. Better if you can tell us all the medications he is currently taking which will help us in guiding you. Since systolic blood pressure is raisd more he needs vasodilators like calcium channel blockers and also ARB group of drugs will help.
