Suggest Treatment To Reduce The Elevated Levels Of Micro Albumin
Hi, my recent laboratory report shows that my micro albumin level is 70, way above the acceptable maximum level of 17 or less. What can I do to naturally bring it down to acceptable levels. I'm on medication for hypertension and type 2 diabetics. Kindly help me. Thanks.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Elevated levels of microalbumin in a diabetic individual most probably means that you are having diabetic nephropathy. Diabetic nephropathy means ill effects of diabetes on kidney leading to defect in glomerular filtration. There are drugs such as ramipril that can delay diabetic nephropathy. You should also get your blood sugar levels & BP controlled & checked regularly.
You should visit a nephrologist for consultation also
Hope this information helps
