Suggest Treatment To Regularize Periods

Hi im 30 yrs old with a complex history. I experience brown bleeding have had 11 miscarriages - my bleeding is irregular - i have had several dnc have been tested for stis- clear endometriosis pcos n thyriod. I used to have problems with over ac tive thyriod. I have tried depo vera which normally i swear by but started bleedin n didnt stop for over 6 months then i tried mirena did nothin so got put on pill (with mirena still inserted) n it slowed the bleeding right down to bear minimum but evertime im sexually active i will start bleeding within hrs of intimacy... one doc seems to believe im in early menopause while another laughed at me. I also experience extreme pain - pelvic, back n migraines n headaches as well as unusual thoughts n extreme moodiness... i want to have a hysta but they tell me i cant coz im too young... this has been going on for over 15years... i dont know if its important to mention as well - i think it could be the key but... i am a survivor of csa n anorexia n bulimia.

Hello,

By your history and description, possibility of hormonal imbalance is more likely. So better to consult a gynecologist and get done detailed hormone levels. You will need hormone pills to regulate hormones. Once your hormones normalize, you will be alright.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Kaushal Bhavsar, Pulmonologist
