Suggest Treatment To Remove Infected Ingrown Hair In Vagina And Can It Be Harmful In Pregnancy?

hi, im pregnant and i have two days ago an infected ingrown hair at my intimate area. its looks like a big blood blister. its very big and uncomfortable and its a bit red around. how i have to treat this and can it affect anything on my pregnancy if infecting more? thank you in advance for your answer

It will not affect your pregnancy, so you can be reassured not to worry about the pregnancy. The best way to treat an ingrown hair like you describe is with warm soaks 2-3 times a day, and it should heal on its own in a few days. If the swelling or redness gets worse or spreads, that could be a sign of a skin infection. If that happens,. you need to see your doctor and you may need antibiotics. There are many antibiotics that can safely be used in pregnancy if necessary.

Also, if it seems like you are developing an abscess or a cyst, which could feel like a swollen ball or a swollen gland, you need top see your doctor and consider draining it. But don't do this on your own, or it could get infected.
