General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello thank you for writing us here.
Prostate cancer results in the obstruction of the urethra and if not treated, it results into urinary tract infection and incomplete emptying of bladder or in severe cases, rupture of bladder.
The treatment includes surgical removal of prostrate. Its done by inserting catheter and removing the gland by suction.
There are medications which may give relief but I would suggest you to see your GP for best prognosis and management.
God bless you

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
