Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
yeah, my sgpt level was high as 63, then i have taken medicine for 1 month and the range comes to 27, but now im feeling same type of illness while sgpt was high, and there is cough in my throat always, and sleep disorder inspite of taking rivotril- clonazepam 1 mg. whats my problem and what to do?
Temporary viral infection of upper respiratory tract also can raise SGPT. If SGPT is raised greater than 2 fold, that is more than 84 then only it's clinically significant. Cough in throat always could be by post nasal drip for which allergic testing should be done and take anti allergic nasal spray as per doctor advise. For sleep disorder, try to do regular exercise and yoga. Consult psychiatrist for detailed counseling.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
