Suggest Treatment While Having Positive Rubella IgG Test Results

I ve had positive Rubella IgG tests as far back as 2001 and as recently as November 2015 (IgG 2.95). With no symptoms on May 22, 2017, I tested positive for Rubella IgM (47.7). Retest on May 30th positive for Rubella IgM (46.6) and IgG (2.2). EIA retest on June 7th positive for IgM (46.7), negative for EBV, CMV, and RF.

Hi,

No treatment is required as you don't have any symptoms. You had Rubella infection in the past. So you will be positive for IgG and IgM lifelong. Treatment is only required if you have symptoms.
