I have Raynauds, Sjogrens..chronic sinusitis..cant take steriods or decongestants..Is there a shot that can be given to open the sinus. I cant take oral predisone..allergic...nasal shots of cortisone do help I hear there was another injection gabanol to open sinus...help...been going on for month..took 3 weeks of Levaquin Rheumy as me on EVOXAX to increase secretions..makes me sick to stomach..frustrated cant get out of bed
You have to get it done X-ray of paranasal sinuses. Depending upon the sinus involvement the treatment depends. Use naso clear normal saline nasal spray for five days. you may use flonase nasal spray twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will do nasal endoscopy and treat you accordingly.
