Suggest Treatments For A Ligament Tear In My Shoulder

hi doc i got injured on my left shoulder and diagnosed with partially tear and later ortho told me its a ligament tear and advise me to go for ultra sound. anyway i'm 41 yrs old from singapore. i'm an indian ethnic. i'm a diabetes too. whats the treatment and how long it will takes to cure? i gonna continue my weight lifting and boxing training. please advice me?
