Suggest Treatments For Hearing Loss In Spite Of A Surgery
I had surgery fifteen years ago on my left ear. I received a mesh eardrum and had some kind of device installed that was supposed to improve my hearing. At first it worked, but was very slight in improving my hearing (buzzing to certain tones). Now I hear nothing (5-10%). Is this damage reversible? My incus bone is gone. The contraption inside is supposed to replace the bone and act as a receptor from the eardrum. Thank you.
Hi, For exactly telling you about your chances of hearing to get better, one need to evaluate you completely. We will require to do your hearing tests and will need your previous reports, both before and after surgery, details of surgery done to tell you, what can be done for your ears. But definitely something can always be done to get the hearing levels better that include surgery to hearing aids.
