Suggest Treatments For Lump Behing My Ear With Headache And Blurry Vision

Over the last three months i ha ve noticed a lump growing behind my left ear it is now just larger then a quarter and i have been having frequent headaches and some blurry vision this worries me because my mother had the same symptoms a few years ago and she had a bone tumor and had to have surgery what should i do?

I had gone through your query and understand your concerns.
You should not think of Cancer as first option.
The lump behind you left ear might be a lipoma or a lymph node from an infection.
If the lump is hard,painless in touch and is growing it might be a serious finding and need some evaluations.

There are many possible causes for headaches and blurry vision.
If i were your treating doctor I would first try to rule out the most common causes including:
-High blood pressure.Measure your blood pressure 2 times a day for some days.
-Migraine
-Sinusitis (infection of face sinuses)
-Eye problems

I suggest to consult a physician and get examined .
A detailed medical history,carefully physical examination are necessary to get to the right diagnosis.

You should run some routine tests including :Complete blood count ,Blood sugar .
Further investigations will depend on the findings on physical examination.
You may need to do an CT scan or MRI of the head, and a biopsy of the lymph node.

You should not neglect these symptoms.Consult a physician and get examined.
