Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My problem is that when I cough or sneeze I noticed that I feel pain in the groin area, where the leg meets the body. I just started noticing this recently, and figured out that it also occurs when I do fast jerking movements. I am currently training to become a U.S. Marine and train extremely hard for about 1/3 of the day. I also eat a healthy diet and have never consumed drugs or alcohol. I have started to practice martial arts. I thank you for your time and apologize for any spelling and grammar mistakes.
Possible causes like hernia or musculoskeletal conditions must be ruled out. Minor hernia which may not be visible can cause pain especially coughing and straining. An MRI scan is required to make a diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
